Man, I am really struggling with this choice. I'm on my second listen through Reconstruction Site. It's really good. On the other hand, Bizarre Love Triangle.
ReplyDeleteJeff, don't feel threatened by baby-blackmail schemes. Not only is there "Bizarre Love Triangle" but "Ceremony", "Everything's Gone Green", "Temptation", "Blue Monday", "The Perfect Kiss"...It's like the highlights of 1980s Manchester and your adolescence put together all in one album!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Eric that Substance is brilliant. It was the first CD I ever bought and New Order was the first concert I went to. I still can't believe how good "Perfect Kiss" sounds today. On the other hand, now that MVB gave Left and Leaving the shaft, Jane's gonna be really pissed if you don't choose Reconstruction Site. Keep in mind she's getting about two hours of sleep at a time right now. Just sayin.
