  1. Good call on Bitte Orca--that was my favorite album of last year, but it didn't quite fit on my list. Also, I almost went with Lie Down in the Light, but decided on Ease on Down the Road instead. Too bad, we could have had strength in numbers.

  2. Yeah, I see a few other artist lots of us might have coordinated better on: Bjork, Bob Dylan, M.I.A., Yo La Tengo (to name a few). Sad us.

  3. I'm thinking that same-artists should get some weight in the scoring. I'll post the formula soon...

  4. What a pleasant surprise to see "Sticky Fingers" at the top of your list! I knew you had a cursory appreciation of the Stones, but didn't know you liked 'em that much...especially the nasty, druggy, Sticky fingers-era Stones:)...Also very happy to see Massive Attack and Santogold and MIA (I just couldn't fit her in!) on there.

  5. E: I can't call myself a well-rounded Stones fan. I can mostly just claim to be a connoisseur of this album, which has just the right mix of ass-kicking and abandon.
